The Prize, a film produced by Athletes in Action Media for the 2006 World Cup is now available!

Estimates are that this summer’s World Cup of soccer will have 35 billion viewings—that’s an average of 6.5 viewings per person worldwide!

The Prize is a 26 minute, made-for-broadcast film that features World Cup players, their struggles and their faith journeys. Produced by Athletes in Action, the film features stories about footballers and exciting football highlights from Brazil (Jorginho, Edmilson, Lucio, Ze Roberto), Korea (Lee Young Pyo), Africa (Cyrille Domoraud, Ivory Coast National Team) and USA/Manchester United (Tim Howard).

The Prize has been translated into 30 languages and can be purchased with the Jesus Film or by itself. There will be a DVD available that will have The Prize and the Jesus Film in 24 languages. Click here to see a complete list of languages available.

The Prize is being used around the world to reach people for Christ. For example, in the Middle East 150 churches have purchased satellite equipment in order to show the 2006 World Cup games. The games will only be broadcast on TV for a fee so people will be looking for places to watch the games. The Prize will be shown between the games. These outreaches will take place in nine hard to reach countries in this region.
